Baseball is Back!

MLB is BackSpring is here. After a long snow-filled winter, we welcome the warmer weather, budding flowers, green lawns, and the return of baseball. As American as cherry pie, baseball is one of those sports you can’t help but love.

For those of you who follow Major League Baseball, check out our Channels page. We have mobile content for over 30 of the league’s premier teams at your fingertips. Download wallpapers, at-bat ringtones, or sign up to receive in-game alerts from your favorite team. If you head to a game this spring, be sure to check the game-day weather forecast before leaving the house without a jacket (or umbrella for those pesky rain delays). Stuck at work during a day game? No worries – subscribe to MLB’s Gameday Audio Service and listen from your desk.

We also have some fun stuff for those of you hitting the little league fields on Saturday mornings. A Baseball Tracker for Blackberry allows little league parents and coaches to track multiple players batting averages while sitting at the game. Instructional videos are also available on the site, including a demo on “Working the Fence” in the outfield.

However you enjoy the game this spring, have fun and don’t be shy about ordering that hotdog. Go Red Sox!

New Cell Phone On Your Christmas Wish List?

This holiday season there are lots of great options. LG’s new Voyager and Venus are getting a fair amount of attention; as are the iPhone, Sidekick Slide, and Blackberry Curve.

There will be millions of cell phones purchased in the month of December, with many of them being activated on December 25th.

If you are one of the many looking to upgrade or are thinking of surprising a loved one at the last minute with a new phone, check out the LetsTalk site for some advice. You carry your phone almost everywhere, so it’s important that you find the model that’s right for you and works with your carrier.

And keep in mind as you shop… US carriers have now changed their policies on termination fees making it less expensive to upgrade in many cases. So if you really want that iPhone, it may be worth it to terminate and move to AT&T.

Happy Shopping!
